Chuckie is a male/chow/shepherd mix who is about 7 years old. This sweet boy had a loving mom who was homeless. She wanted a better life for him so, with a heavy heart, she gave him up to Rescue so that he could have a safe, warm, loving home. Chuckie has high energy and loves people. He is friendly, sociable and playful. He pulls a little on the leash but is working on that. He is getting used to being an indoor dog and seems to prefer laminate or hardwood floors. He s a gentle, special dog who needs an experienced and patient owner who will help him adjust to domesticity from life on the street..He needs someone to keep him in line. Chuckie is fearless, independent and a little unpredictable at times. He is not a barker but he does show aggression while leashed, with strangers and sometimes to other dogs. He suffers from some separation anxiety and needs someone home much of the time. He does not like his crate and doesn't do well in it. Chuckie is a beautiful boy who deserves a better deal in life than he has gotten so far.
