Princeton's Story...
Oh boy, I am destined to be a high achiever! A real Ivy League-caliber lover. With hard work and application, I have set myself apart from my peers, and am aiming to become a Future Puppy Achiever of America. With my transcripts and letters of recommendation it is a sure thing! One day in the future I will look back on my legacy of obedience and know that I was the best darned dog I could be. But now, it is time to put in the work, and maybe with a mentor like you in my life I might be able to graduate with honors. I am all ears and ready to learn. If you give me the consistent reward-based training I need, I will bring my A-game every time! Then, when I am valedictorian and giving my speech at puppy-school graduation, I can say with confidence that my family gave me the keys to the future and showed me how to open the door. 4 months old-40lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes microchip, neuter, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princeton, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
