My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for a happy, loving, and intelligent dog? Well, you found me! My name is DAPHNE, and I'm a five-year-old lovely Vizsla/ Weimaraner mix who's waiting to be adopted and adored at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. I had to have one of my eyes removed, but I barely notice. It hasn't detracted from my good looks, either. I'm cheerful and affectionate, plus I'm good with kids. I get along nicely with other dogs, too. I've already been house trained, I know hot to sit on command, and I'm very well-mannered. I'm the whole package! It's important that I get sufficiently exercised each day, so I'll need a good long walk every day to be at my best. We live in a good climate for that, so we'll enjoy our walks together. I hope to be somebody's best friend and a cherished member of the family as soon as possible. I've been here at the shelter for a few weeks while my eye healed, so I'm ready to go to my new and forever home right away.
