MrSugar is a black & white male, born approximately 6/1/12. MsSammie is a Siamese mix female, born approximately 4/22/11. Both cats were found in the gardens of Skypark Assisted Living Facility. Until recently, they were cared for by their rescuer, Terry. Due to her health issues & move to another facility, she can no longer care for her cats. Even tho not related, MrSugar & MsSammie are very bonded & hopefully will find a new home together.
Their foster mom, Helen, writes:
MrSugar has a lot of personality. He will make friends with you quickly. He tends to get into everything. Loves to explore, play with his toys, & loves the feather on the string & stick. He totally loves MsSammie & sticks pretty close to her. He will come to you & let you rub him & he will sort of kiss you, but he really is checking to smell what you have been eating. He will let you hold him for short periods of time, & he will lay on the bed beside your feet. He is a pretty good cat. He loves to sit up high & look out the windows, he can see the trees with the birds & squirrels. He loves to lay in the sunbeams at noontime & early afternoon.
MsSammie is a little lady she is a real gentle soul. She lived at the front of Skypark Gardens for a long time. Terry used to feed her separately, as she was so timid she only got the left overs. She has lived indoors with Terry about one and a half years. She took a long time to warm up to me, she saw that I was kind to MrSugar, & eventually she came around. She will let me pick her up & hold her for long periods of time in my arms & on my lap. She will lay beside me on the bed too. She even purrs for me. She likes to play with the toys, especially likes the feather on the string & stick. She too likes to be up high & look out the windows at the trees, with the birds and squirrels. She loves to lay in the sunbeams towards noon & early afternoon. She has bonded with me, more so than Sugar.
They both go out on my balcony & sit on the ledge. MrSugar is scared of the noise from the outside, so he is inside most of the time. MsSammie loves to be on the balcony ledge whether it is hot or cold. She is not so scared of the noise. But when you call her she will come in. Both these cats are really beautiful. MrSugar has gorgeous green eyes, & MsSammie has beautiful blue eyes. They are very clean, both share the same litterbox, I keep it cleaned out religiously. They eat treats, wet & dry foods, both are very healthy. They are very clean, they groom each other. They run around playing, they hide & jump out on each other, & they roll around on the floor wrestling each other. They are not a bit bold, they have never even scratched me.
