My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Finnegan! I'm a very handsome boy in need of a family. I'm a friendly people oriented dog who likes to be around my favorite humans. I'm a can be a little nervous around new things, so I might need some time to feel safe and more confident in new situations. I'm looking for a home that understands this and can take their time with me, but will also be ready to have lots of fun playing and exercising with me as well. I would do best in a home without small kids or cats. I love to lean in for attention so lets spend tons of quality time together! I am currently undergoing treatment for Heartworms. Heartworms are a worm that lives in the heart and the vessels surrounding the heart. They are spread by mosquitoes, and it is not contagious. Heartworms, if left untreated, can cause heart damage, or lead to problems with the lungs, kidneys and other organs. While undergoing treatment I would still love to find my new family, and I am available for adoption. My new family would need to be committed to bringing me back to the Humane Society to finish my treatment. Please hurry in to meet me and talk with an Adoption Counselor for more details.
