Meet Bennie. This friendly little guy is a sweetheart. He loves dogs, cats and people of all ages. He is about 25 pounds, around two years old and is a complete lovebug!! He has three little paw print marks on his back - it is so cute. Bennie will follow you around everywhere and loves to snuggle on the couch when you are watching T.V. He was in a home with two other dogs and they weren’t being cared for so a family member stepped in and took him along with his canine siblings and dumped them in a local animal shelter. He was scared, lonely and sad when a FOR volunteer saw him. He was adopted out to a loving home, but his owner works long hours and feels bad that he is home alone for most of the day and realizes that that is not much of a life for a young sweet dog. He soaks up all the love and attention that anyone gives him. He is an absolute joy to have around!! Bennie walks beautifully on a leash and loves going for walks. He is housebroken, has had obedience training, and is crate trained, but can be trusted to leave out when you are not home. He will quietly lie down and wait for you to return. He is submissive and well behaved and would love to have another canine buddy to play with. This is a seriously great dog!! He is the kind of dog that would fit into any loving home – with other dogs or children of all ages, as a companion dog or with an active family.
