My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Sushi is only 6.6 lbs and approx 18 months old. She looks like a little wire haired cairn terrier. She is just the cutest little girl, very well behaved and quiet, loves to play with her rescue buddies and her toys, hangs out in her doggie bed as good as gold. She likes to roll over on her back when you go to pick her up and gets very excited at dinner time, her favorite meal is roast chicken. She had a luxating patella and our orthopedic surgeon rebuilt her knee and straighten out her leg. She seems to be doing really well and only occasionally do we see her limp, but with a couple of more weeks of rest, she should be just about healed. She can be a little shy at first and it took her a while to warm up to her foster home, but that may be a result of being very scared in the shelter and then was in pain with her leg. We would prefer she have a home with no small children that may accidentally hurt her if they picked her up wrong because she is so tiny. She loves being held and seems to be pretty well house trained, she is going to make a really good companion for someone.
