My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edy is a gentle and snuggly 10-month-old, female black lab-mix with white ticking on her chest. Edy has a funny pug-like smooshed in face that reminds me of grumpy cat! However, Edy is anything but a grump. She knows the commands sit and down and takes treats ever so nicely from your fingers.
Edy is readily available and waiting for a new guardian in the adoption room. To meet and possibly adopt her, please visit CACC in person at 2741 South Western Avenue in Chicago. The shelter is open from noon to 7:00 pm every day, and shuts down briefly from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.

All the dogs are neutered/spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. CACC is at 2741 S. Western Avenue in Chicago and is open noon to 7:00 pm with an hour closure from 3:00 to 4:00. Adoptions end at 6:00. The dogs' adoption fee is $65. If you have questions about any of the other dogs available for adoption, foster or rescue, please contact caccadoptables@gmail.com
If you cannot adopt, please consider becoming a foster with Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control by contacting Kat at kat@fcacc.org, or Cindy at cindyandbailey@comcast.net or 312-909-3255. If you cannot foster an animal, but would like to volunteer at Chicago Animal Care and Control contact caccvolunteer@cityofchicago.org. If you can’t adopt, foster or volunteer, please consider making a donation to www.fcacc.org
