Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 1-year-old neutered male Dachshund/Border Collie mix. At least that's what my friends here think. I know that mix sounds weird, but if you take a close look at me, you can totally see both breeds. I weigh about 17 pounds so, I'm obviously a little smaller than your standard Border Collie, but maybe I get my small size from the Dachshund genes. Anyway, why get hung up on my breed? I'm really, really darn cute. That's all that matters!
Aside from my good looks, I have the absolute best personality, too! I am the happiest, most outgoing pup you'll ever meet. Nothing gets me down! I love everybody I meet - people and dogs alike!
I'm playful and energetic and always up for a game of catch. My favorite toy right now is a rubber ball that lights up when it hits something. It's awesome!! If you adopt me, will you promise to buy me one? I'll be a really good boy and bring it back to you every time!
What else can I tell you about myself? Oh, if you're looking for a companion that will always be by your side, that's me! I'm never very far away. If you're sitting at your desk working, I'll be right at your feet. I might even sit there and stare at you for a bit with a great big grin on my face. It's a little creepy, but don't be alarmed. I'm just so happy to be around you.
You're probably wondering how I got here. Well, one day Animal Control saw me wandering the streets of LA. They picked me up and brought me to a local high-kill shelter. They booked me in as a stray and waited 4 days for someone to claim me. I'm sure you can guess that no one did. I was put up for adoption and there I sat for about 2 weeks. Thankfully, CageFree came to my rescue and brought me back to their facility. So, here I am, hanging out with all my friends until you decide to contact them to schedule a meeting. Are you going do that soon? Don't get me wrong, I'm having a great time here, but I would like a forever home of my own. Hurry up. Contact CageFree!
