My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Glacier is ready to romp in the snow with you just in time for the holiday season!

Glacier is a 18 month old Siberian Husky mix who is currently waiting for his forever home in Crescent City, California at Del Norte County Animal Shelter.

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful people at the Del Norte County Animal Control located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a coastal city on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. We want you to see some really great dogs that they have in their care--it's just a 2-hour drive from Medford to adopt your new BFF!

Glacier is a wonderful boy who is great with people and children. He loves to play and receive affection, and can't wait to go home and cuddle together and enjoy lots of wonderful times. He can be shy at first, but if you are committed to showing Glacier some patience and lots of love, he will be your best friend in no time. Glacier would love a home with no cats, but may enjoy a home with another friendly female dog. Glacier just asks that you give them time to properly introduce and don't force interaction as Glacier just hasn't had much socialization up to this point in his life. Glacier is still a puppy so he will need plenty of exercise (his breed loves to run!) and a lot of time to dedicate to some training. Glacier already walks well on a leash and is a smart boy who will pick up tricks fast with some positive reinforcement training. Glacier will be your best friend and loyal companion for life, won't you come show him what that life full of love is like?

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday & Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
