Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Walter is a two year old shih Tzu who weighs 15-20 lbs. He is quite a character. He came into Real Good Dog Rescue after living in someone's garage. He was matted, did not trust a single human and could not be touched. After four days in a foster home where he was warm, fed and cleaned up he responded beautifully. Walter loves being in foster care and having other dogs. He has failed miserably when placed into an adoptive home. We can only figure that Walter will do best with someone who lives alone but has other dogs. He tends to protect one human over another. If he is NOT the only dog he seems to take himself a lot less seriously and behaves more like a dog than the king of the castle. He is a different dog in his foster home than he has been after being adopted. This is a cute guy who loves to walk, gets along fine with other dogs and stays on an even keel as long as he feels he is in the right spot. Walter can only be adopted to a single adult who wants an additional pet. And preferably does not have a lot of company. His adoption fee is $150
