Scout's Story...
PLEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available, but might have applications we are processing. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it's advised to submit an application immediately Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, we may get applications to bump yours. Please read the information provided below before emailing us as we will only answer those emails where the answers to the questions are already provided below. Thank you for your understanding.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

Meet Scout, Born 10-18-14, we believe these pups will be 30 pounds and under given their current weights. They arrived into the rescue with siblings and mom who were found abandoned in the backyard of an empty house in Southern Illinois. Mom was very emaciated. Mom is around 30 pounds and we feel has some Beagle in her and possibly some terrier. Dad well he was a traveling salesman, and have no idea who he is.

Ranger, Lilly, and Daisy have found there forever homes now. Scout and Shadow and being fostered together in a foster home in St. Charles around other dogs who they are great with, kids who they adore and cats. He really likes to chase and bark at the cats so we feel a home without cats would be best for the kitties. He is totally pee pad trained and goes outside as well. He is very sweet, and a huge snuggler. Scout is totally opposite of his brother in that he is much more mellow and subdued. Scout would be great in a home with calmer children, where as his brother shadow would love an busy home.

If you think this pup might fit perfectly into your family and you would like to meet her, please fill out our Adoption application which can be found on our website at www.angelsonwheels.org. An approved adoption application is required prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: This pup now comes with 30 free pet insurance, the Spaying/Neutering which is done, microchip, 3-4 DHPP puppy vaccinations, Rabies if over 4 months, dewormed with panacur, treated with revolution, leash and collar.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Naperville Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
