My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Babbs! Babbs is a senior female Westie, retired from a commercial breeding facility. Babbs is crate trained, working on walking on leash, and is learning, but will need continued house training. She is friendly and gets along well with other small dogs and older children. Babbs is spayed, has had a dental, and is current on all shots. Babbs also has had surgery to remove mammary tumors and will bear monitoring in the future. Babbs has produced many nice puppies over the years and now it is her turn to spend time in a loving home as a cherished pet.
If you would like more information on Babbs please contact GLWR at westierescue@mchsi.com or submit an application at www.glwrescue.org.
*Please familiarize yourself with the Westie breed to be certain these terriers are a good match for your family. Westies are "indoor" pets.
*We do not ship Westies. Transport options are available.
*Adopters should understand that our Westies come from varied, and sometimes difficult, backgrounds and will need an adjustment period to settle into their new home.
*Additional training may be required and is always recommended.
*GLWR, Inc. requires a completed application ( available online at www.glwrescue.org ), personal references, a vet reference, and a home visit.
*GLWR is an all volunteer non-profit corporation, an adoption donation of $300.00 helps support our rescue program.
