Blake's Story...
Blake is a 45# Shep mix that is 6 months old. He is a mellow boy in the house but he likes to play. He can be a little shy at first but warms up to new people quickly. He likes to play with other dogs and is being fostered on a horse farm so is used to larger animals. He has not been tested with small children and might not be suitable for all cats. He loves his bed and likes to snuggle. If you are interested in having us send you an application on this boy, please email us at info@actvrescue.org. He will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. Inquiries in the Twin City metro and Rochester areas only. Adoption fee is $375.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blake, a Bloomington German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
