My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kestrel is a strikingly beautiful black/silver tabby girl with some hints of caramel here and there - everyone who sees her says how pretty she is! She is about 4 years old, and arrived at the shelter as a stray. She is somewhat tolerant of her female roommate, Kittiwake, though does swat at her now and then (Kittiwake often tries to rub up against Kestrel in a show of friendship, and Kestrel thinks that is a little too familiar, thank-you-very-much). She gets along well with her other roommate, Blue, and in fact may have been living with Blue in his former home - we haven't been able to confirm that, but "intelligence sources say" that may be the case.

Kestrel is fairly playful, and would enjoy being an indoor only or indoor/outdoor kitty. She should be fine in pretty much any time of family, from a single senior to a hectic household with many children. She is an "easy keeper" cat - not too demanding, not too vocal, fairly independent but affectionate when you want her to be.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Kestrel is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
