Chapman's Story...
Hi, my name is Chapman. You may remember me. I first came to the shelter when I was about 10 weeks old (I am approximately 6 months old now). I was adopted by a loving family, but due to unexpected circumstances, they are no longer able to keep me. My previous family raves about me. They say I am good with kids, cats, and other dogs. I am housetrained (I only have a few accidents once in a while), and I know the command "sit." I long to find another loving family soon! Please come to the shelter and meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chapman, a Chino Valley Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
