My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fritz- a 6 month old heart worm negative male shepherd mix. Donkey sized ears on this little monkey move each one independent of the other, like satellite dishes adjusted, then re-adjusted yet never quite in sync. The total effect is, well- goofy, and make no mistake- Fritz can be. He made a quick crossfade between the past and the present, bringing no baggage forward from his days in the shelter.
He is a young dog, but understands that there is a time to participate and a time to spectate and has a keen intuition about his place in the grand scheme of things. Indifference is not in his DNA; he is always engaged and ready to make the short leap from urge to frolic, but is just as content to snooze in the afternoon sun, his own ears folded over his eyes like a sleep mask donned to bar the light.
He plays beautifully and at full tilt with the other dogs in his foster home, has learned that the cat makes ALL the rules, and takes direction well from his foster parents. He is learning basic obedience commands and crates without complaint at the end of the day. Fritz- friendly and full of vim, who knows how to lift droopy spirits and is primed and ready to be a devoted companion and a fun and friendly family pet.

Please contact the foster home at carolineford74@yahoo.com for any questions or if you would like to meet him.
