If you love chocolate, behold Layla!! With her gorgeous milk chocolate fur and her delicious personality, she is like a real-life stuffed animal, ready for cuddling (maybe a little nibbling on your part!!) and lots of love!! Layla was rescued from a hoarding situation and is being fostered in a home with puppies, dogs and kids and loves them all. We were told she is a purebred Lab and she definitely inherited her attentiveness and intelligence from one of her parents. She is puppy-playful without being crazy and affectionate without being needy -- truly the perfect puppy!! Car rides? Layla is the first one in. Swimming? Like a duck to water! Layla also walks very well on a leash, knows basic obedience and never met a ball she wouldn't chase (but bringing it back is not always on her agenda!) Because of her beginning months at the hoarders, she can sometimes be a little reserved around new people and strange noises. For that reason, we think a home without very young children would be a great match for her. But also because of her beginnings, she is enjoying a kind of delayed childhood and loves to play, so no couch potatoes, please!! She would love another doggie friend in the house, but either way, she will be so grateful that you saved her life - - and you'll be grateful for having found a girl this wonderful. Layla is about 8 - 9 months old, she's very healthy, weighs about 45 - 50 pounds - - give her a chance and she'll make a chocolate lover out of anyone!
