My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Punky is probably a long haired dachshund mixed with poodle or maybe a little schnauzer. He is about 3 years old and weighs 9 pounds. He is a sweet little man who is sociable and very friendly. Punky was found very neglected and once rescued had to be shaved down due to his coat being so matted. He is sporting a "punky" trim at the moment and is feeling sooo much better for a trim and bath. He has a Dachshund face and a long thin body shape but the fur on his body is soft and wavy. He does not seem to shed but there are no guarantees. Punky needs a home with a fenced yard and someone to love him. He runs around the backyard looking for squirrels and is very active outside. Inside he is just a love bug. He gets along with other dogs, medium and small. They all accept his easy going personality. He is approx. 3 years old, heartworm negative, neutered and vaccinated. Plus he now micro chipped so he will never be lost or without ID again. Punky is housetrained and sits patiently for treats and has a soft mouth.
