My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mitchell is a very beautiful dog. He's very playful, energetic and sweet. He's intelligent and eager to please. He loves to cuddle and is always excited to see you when you come home. He is a young dog and still has a lot of puppy energy but is eager to please and intelligent so learns quickly. Mitchell is approximately a year old and currently weighs 42 lbs.

Here is what else his foster family had to say:

Mitchell is super friendly and wants to play with everyone. He whines when we leave the house and sometimes barks for attention when we leave the room. He likes to be with his people and follows behind us very closely around the house. Mitchell is still learning about life in the city and is still afraid of cars. He is a young boy and will need further training and socialization. He loves cuddling, playing fetch and just spending time with his humans - in whatever form that may be.

He is still learning his manners but he has great potential to be a well behaved boy all around. Mitchell doesn't really chew things he shouldn't, but he begs for food when we're eating. he is a smart boy and so far he has learned "sit" and is learning "stay" and "off". He is fully house trained.

Michell is crate trained. He happily sleeps in his crate and is left in the crate while we're at work. Typically 9 hours a day. He's much calmer in his crate at the moment and should continue to be crate trained until he can be fully trusted in the home.

Mitchell is still learning to walk with a leash but he pulls and is over. When its quiet around, he walks much better and if we keep things interesting by changing direction and playing, he does not pull. Of course it would be best if his new family was willing to take him for obedience training unless they have enough experience to train him themselves.

Mitchell is a very special dog. He's got lots of energy, is playful, loveable and intelligent. Not to mention, he doesn't drool or shed! It seems that all he wants is your love and is always ready for cuddles or play. He's got a lot of potential for learning tricks and commands and with a patient and loving trainer, he would be the perfect canine companion.

Mitchell deserves a great home and family. He needs a home where his people will have the time and will be committed to his further training and socialization as he is still a puppy. He needs consistency and lots of positive reinforcement as he is very eager to learn and is very intelligent. He is a lovely dog and will make a great family pet.

If you would like to make Mitchell a part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
