SHILOH's Story...
✰✰ SHILOH, Male 9 weeks of age is #AVAILABLE – For more photos please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/timer.html ✰✰

SHILOH is a loving 9-week-old boy that likes to give kisses & snuggle. He looks you directly in the eye & watches your every move. He was the first of the two puppies to learn the doggy door--both in & out--& is almost 100% potty-training. Although he loves people, he is also great at exploring on his own. He has been exposed to people of all ages & to dogs, cats, goats, sheep, & even large moving "rocks" (tortoises), which he handles all in stride.

SHILOH is micro-chipped, on heartworm preventative, and started on his puppy vaccinations. SHILOH has already been neutered so the adopter will not need to provide a spay/neuter deposit as outlined on the Adoption Procedures webpage. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about SHILOH please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

SHILOH is being fostered in Live Oak in Sutter County, California.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHILOH, a Corning Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Corning, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Corning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corning paves the way for another one to be saved.
