Goombah's Story...
Goombah just celebrated his 1st birthday on Nov 20. He is a rottweiler in every sense of the word. His owner was chronically ill and could no longer care for him. He is papered but I dont know that we will be able to to supply his adopting parents with a copy of his pedigree. He walks well on a leash and knows his basic commands. He is a little insecure and can come off as aggressive with some strangers, but as soon as he realizes that the stranger wants to be his friend, he is cool with them. Once you are his friend, which usually takes like 10 minutes of feeding him treats, he very loving and playful boy. Goombah has a great sense of humor. He is so happy to see his people. He bonds quickly and deep. He will throw a ball in the air and chase it for hours by himself. He is excellent with other dogs. He will immediately greet with a play bow. He was being fostered at a doggie day care for more then 2 month, so he is very well socialized. He is eager to please. He is very smart and listens well, He has a great recall. He walks well on a leash. He knows sit, down, out, stay, come. He is a rotten rottie favorite for sure!

Cats and children are unknown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goombah, a Gilbert Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
