GSP 5.5's Story...
I am an adorable female German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie mix. My mom is an AKC registered GSP who is trained as a hunting/gun dog. I was an "oops" litter. I came in to Dream Power with 4 siblings. We are all looking for our forever homes. We are a bit shy with people, but we are being socialized and played with A LOT. I have been around kids, cats, dogs, and chickens. I will be very energetic through my whole life, so I need a very active family. I will also need training as I am still very much puppy. Are you my forever family? If you would like to adopt, please submit an application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GSP 5.5, a Colorado Springs German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
