Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Landon is a strikingly handsome 1 year old, male, yellow Husky mix that weighs about 50 lbs and could still put on a few pounds. His was a sad story as he languished at a county shelter that has no funds to allow the public to come in to adopt. He was close to being euthanized when Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped forward to save him. Landon’s only way out had been through an owner coming by or through a rescue taking him. True to Husky form, he has the tendency to run and roam that probably got him lost and never found by his former owners. We are looking for Husky savvy, loving people who will work with Landon on his exercise needs and also secure him in a fenced yard and understand his caution with new people at this point. He is good with children and other dogs and just needs some time to get to know the human adults. Landon has the most mesmerizing blue eyes you have ever seen! He needs an understanding family that will show him unconditional love and patience. He so wants a family again. He does need some leash work as he pulls, but with some focus and training he will improve greatly. Landon is an exceptional dog, is super smart and very aware of his surroundings and all that is going on. He would be a great running and trail hiking partner. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
