Dina's Story...
Some of the best things come in the tiniest and yes, cutest packages! Take ME for example! Tipping the scales at less than 9lbs, I offer you the complete pet package all wrapped up in a smart looking tan jacket. Pretty low key given my chihuahua lineage, I'm on the more quiet side and not some busy bee looking to get the party going. Quietly and politely sharing my kennel with upwards of 5 other smaller pets, I'm very good with other dogs and more recently have been enjoying my snuggle time in my igloo with another chi, Randy. Just as cute as a bug and yes, happy to snuggle right up and under your fleece while out on a photo shoot, I've got what it takes to be one loving, loyal companion. Heartworm possitve; 5-6 yrs 8.5lbs

Act quickly to adopt Dina. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dina, a Darlington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
