My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darling Trixie was one of 15 little dogs left abandoned in a vacant house and left to fend for themselves :( Once rescued it was apparent that they were all quite scared around people and not very socialized yet. This poor girl had a litter of puppies which were also rescued, and all have now been adopted. Happily we can report that now Trixie is just blossoming out into a lovely sweet special little snuggle girl! She is so happy...She usually loves attention from everyone she meets, especially if they have a good treat! However she can be a little shy upon meeting strangers at first but warms up so quickly now. Trixie is about 2.5 yrs old and weighs about 12lbs. She does not need a fenced backyard as long as she has plenty of walks and inside playtime. She is really great with other dogs but does not need another in the home. She is good with children. She has not been cat tested. Trixie is house trained, crate trained and loves to go for walks to explore the outdoors with her leash and harness. If you are looking for a darling little companion to keep you warm on these cold winter nights and get you out of the house everyday for a little stroll around the block and some fresh air, then Trixie is your girl! Please email her foster mom, Goldie at keladie916@hotmail.com for more information or to request an application. What would be the best gift of all this holiday season? Trixie in her forever home! Her adoption fee is $250, which helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccines, microchip and care. Please contact us about Trixie, you will be so glad you did!
