Facts about Mia

  • Breed: Domestic Longhair
  • Color: Tan Or Fawn Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
Mia is a 1 year old female kitten with a wonderful personality. She may have some Maine Coon mixed in, but we have no way of knowing for sure. She is a sweet girl and would be great in a home with other cats, a cat-friendly dog, and/or children. She loves being petted and is happy to just be around people. She has moderate energy and is ready to play when you are! She was rescued when she was about 6-8 weeks old and was very malnourished. She barely survived, but now she is healthy and loving life. She needs a home with people who are willing to keep her litter box very clean, as she will go outside of the box if it is not reasonably clean. She has been returned once due to this issue, so we are looking for a forever home who will love and care for her regardless. She is a medium sized cat and is fully grown. She does need a lot of brushing/grooming, as she gets mats very easily.

Mia is fully vetted (spayed, FIV/FeLV tested, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped). If you think Mia may be the right fit for your home, please contact us. There will be an application, adoption fee, and contract. Please contact us with any questions or for more information!

About SnooperHeroes Cat and Canine Rescue - Virginia Beach

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in one of our animals, please contact us for an application. Prior to completing any adoption, we will do a home check to ensure the dog or cat's safety and happiness in a new home. There will also be a contract stating that the animal will be kept up to date on all vetting, will be kept indoors as a part of the family, and that we will be given first notice if a dog or cat should need to be returned or re-homed for any reason. Currently, the adoption fees are $75 for cats/kittens and $125 for puppies and dogs. Before adoption, all animals will be checked by a vet, will have had their first deworming, will have received their first shots and rabies shot (if age permits), will be microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered, unless recommended otherwise by a veterinarian.
