Dawson is a male Yorkshire Terrier mix approximately 2 years in age. He is a small boy, currently weighing in at 8 pounds. He is a bit skinny from being stray and should gain a couple more pounds to reach his ideal weight of 10 pounds. Dawson has beautiful gold and silver coloring with soulful brown eyes. His coat is low/non-shedding and easy to brush out and maintain. Dawson is perky, intelligent, cute and adorably playful. We always know where he is because we just need to listen for the squeaking toy! Dawson plays fetch like a champ and absolutely loves his toys. He can entertain himself easily for hours with his favorite toys. Dawson is affectionate with people and very loyal to those he knows and trusts. He is a homebody and likes to hang out with his family. Dawson walks well on leash with a harness and has a nice amount of energy without being hyper. He tries hard to please and do the right thing and he loves tasty treats. He will take a treat very gently and delicately from your hand. Dawson is confident and does not need another dog in the home to feel secure. He just needs a big basket of squeaky toys! Dawson was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter starved and neglected. He is a classy young dog who will make a fun, entertaining pet and companion. He is too cute for words. Dawson is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Dawson’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Dawson is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Carol and is ready for his forever home.
