Skipper's Story...
Hi, my name is Skipper and I am approximately 3-4 years old. I am looking for someone to take me (to my forever) home. I am an attractive 20lb male with brown eyes, a short tail and a black, white & tan coat..and my family thinks I am a JRT.. but we dont know for sure. I like sleeping in your lap, sitting under your desk, getting petted, hiding in my crate, playing with other dogs, and being indoors. I am Hw negitive, neutered, chipped and am current on all my shots. I am a great catch because I’m housebroken and crate trained. Also, I am good with other dogs, cats and children...Yes I said CATS! I am a cuddly kind of guy and I’d love the chance to snuggle with you. I’m currently fostered in Madison, AL. If you think you’d like to share your home (and lap) with me, then look no further and contact my friends at info@FORrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper, a Homewood Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
