Hold onto your hats because here come Hercules. He is one of the cutest Boxer boys but is easily compared to the preverbal bull in a china shop. All he wants to do is play and he could use some help in learning the proper way to ask other dogs to do so. He would be okay with another dog of equal gladiator style or on his own with very active owners. We found Hercules at the Lancaster shelter and there is a good chance that he has never been given a fair chance to really have any freedom to socially engage. Lots of exercise and a good leader will transform our bull into a baby. He is super sweet but oh so strong. Older kids would be best for now as little ones could go boom. If you are active and experienced then Hercules could be perfect.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hercules, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
