Moka's Story...
ON TRIAL - EN PÉRIODE D'ESSAI
Moka, who is 5 years old and weighs 29 lbs., was given up because her family felt that they did not have the time to devote to her. Moka had been with the family for three years. Moka's next home will be her third and we must make sure that it is her last because Moka has a difficult time adjusting. Although Moka is among other dogs and a cat, she is not interested in them. Moka will require time and patience to adapt to her new home. Obedience training classes would go a long way in boosting her confidence -- and Shelties usually excel at obedience training. Since Moka has spent too much time on her own, a home where she is not alone all day would be ideal. One activity that we have found makes Moka happy is walking; she loves to go for long walks and because she lacked exercise, it will help her to lose a pound or two. Under that worried and frightened exterior, there is an intelligent and beautiful dog who is just waiting to feel safe so that she can show her love and affection. Moka will be well worth the time and effort. If you are interested in Moka, please complete the on-line Adoption Form
