Huffington-adoption pending's Story...
Huffington is a young wheaten terrier mix. He is not considered hypoallergenic as he is a mix. He is one bouncy puppy and is approx 1 year old and 25 lbs. He is a typical wheaten. He is very sweet and playful, does not have a mean bone in his body, loves to run and play with the other dogs and will need a yard to be able to run, play and burn some puppy energy. He does chill out after some good exercise. As he is a puppy, he will still need some obedience, leash training, is not bad on the house training, but not perfect. He loves everyone he meets!! Since he does jump up at this stage, he would not be suitable for little children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huffington-adoption pending, a Norwalk Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
