Jacky's Story...
This is Jacky. She is a 9 month old shepherd mix that was found hiding in a corner of a tennis court. When Maria called me telling me she needed help capturing Jacky, I showed up and saw a terrified girl avoiding eye contact and absolutely infested with ticks and fleas. Let me try to capture how bad she was infested.. I had to bomb my car after transporting her 3 blocks to the groomers because there were fleas and ticks everywhere!!!! So as soon as I arrived and offered Jacky some food, she ate it and we were able to get the leash around her. Everyone stepped back and she came out and guess what she did? She walked up to me (I was the only one still kneeling down) and licked my face and laid down beside me. And that is the story of how Jacky was rescued... She is 9 months old. Fully vetted and spayed. She is very active and playful. Needs an active household since she has a lot of energy. Very dog friendly and great with kids. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacky, a Miami Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Miami, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
