Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Big fan of: Other friendly dogs, adults and teenagers, treats, having a warm coat to wear in the winter, and being brushed.
Not a fan of: Being alone. Ricky loves the company of people and other canines so an adoptive household where he will have companionship most of the time would be perfect.
A little more: Ricky came to PAWS in September after spending six days in a cage at Animal Care and Control. It seems as though he wasn’t properly cared for in his former living situation, because Ricky had a cold, an ear infection, and badly needed a bath and a dental cleaning. He was treated by PAWS vets and is now in excellent health! Ricky does have a neurological issue which causes him to shake or have tremors when he is stressed, but we have seen a significant decrease in this behavior as he continues to adjust to all the change in his life. Ricky is now living in a foster home where he is doing great! He has been a lovely house guest and already appears to have some house-training experience.
Dream home: Ricky is searching for a loving home with children 10+ where he won’t be alone too often.
