My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We suspect someone grabbed this lovely boy by the head & choked him. But despite his bad beginnings, Andy is a happy & loving soul who punctuates his play with joyous leaps, hence his nickname, Andy-Roo. He’s a great size: small enough to fit in a lap (which he loves) but large enough to go for hikes and runs. He loves to play fetch & tug and gets on very well with all of the dogs in his group home. He's amiable & cuddly around his caretakers and absolutely adores children. Andy is either housebroken or possessed of disproportionately large storage capacities, because his kennel is always spotless. He is still a bit head-shy and instinctively dodges if he interprets a movement as an attempt to corner him, but we've been working hard to overcome his fears & now he's very good on-leash. Andy isn't hyper or yappy, but if he could speak, he'd ask for a fenced yard or regular opportunities to run & play.
