Franz's Story...
Guten Tag! We are Hans and Franz, and we're here to 'Pump You Up' with our fun and happy energy ;) We are about 8 months old and we would like to find a forever home together. We are Doxie mix brothers and we weigh about 15 lbs. each. Our owner let us out of our yard because they didn't want us anymore. People were honking at us and whizzing by and we got really scared and were trying to go home. A nice lady pulled over and helped us back home, but our owner said to take us, so she contacted the rescue and now we are safe and sound waiting on our forever home. We are always together and comfort each other when one of us doesn't feel good. We also groom each other and play together, so we're kind of easy to have around. We love other dogs and we love our human too. Belly rubs are our favorite thing in the world. We are up to date on vaccines, we are microchipped and we are neutered. Our adoption donation is $300.00 together. Please e-mail mahgoo12@aol.com for an application for us. We really hope that we can spend the holidays with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franz, a Palm Harbor Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
