Champ's Story...
Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

This handsome young man is looking for a home where he can continue to learn all his manners and grow up right. He loves toys, any toy, and being a pup he thinks anything is a toy. Remote controls beware. Champ is a confident young man and can clash with equally confident male dogs. He would be great with a strong female dog. He is a very vocal boy and most dogs seem to understand what he is saying. Some people can be a bit put off by the sounds of Champ. He is fine left home in a crate for a few hours if entertainment is provided like something to chew on. This boy has fantastic potential in boxer experienced hands.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Encino Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
