Daisy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Daisy's Story...
Daisy was adopted from our rescue and her owner recently passed away so she is back with us. She is a very laid back senior who enjoys just being near someone. She is low energy, housebroken, comes when called. Stays in yard when outside, she does like to explore but does not run off. Daisy has had seizures in the past and that is controlled with anti seizure medication. Her adopters would need to provide her with this medication. She needs a good retirement home to live out her senior years. Please visit asaprescue.org to fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Carey Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Carey, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Carey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carey paves the way for another one to be saved.
