My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Daisy, and I am a golden girl, looking for my fur-ever home, where I can love my humans for the rest of my life.
If you don't mind, I would like to describe my ideal day.
I would start it by waking up next to you, in your bed.
If it's nice out, we would go for a walk, but if it's too cold or rainy or snowy, you wouldn't need to worry, because I am an expert at using wee wee pads.
I would have a nice breakfast.
If you have to go to work or run some errands, I would miss you, but wait for you patiently. However, remember: you could take me with you anywhere! Not only am I light enough to carry around (I am 6 pounds,) but I absolutely LOVE my carrier (as soon as you open it, I jump right in) and I love, love, LOVE people. And, let's be honest, I am cute as a button, so people love me, too. I am the perfect pooch to have around all kinds of humans; I am size-, color-, age-, and gender-blind.
We could also go to the bank, or a cafe, or the park; you would learn that I am just as easy on the leash as I am in my carrier. I also look exceptionally pretty in dresses, if that's your thing.
Then, at the end of the day, I would snuggle by your side while you finish some work, read a book, or watch the evening news. You would give me a nice dinner, and then we would go to bed, and I would snuggle next to you under the covers all night, until it would be time to wake up, and we could start our day all over again.
Because of the "battle scars" left behind after a double hernia I had when I was rescued, I might not be able to be spayed, and because I have such a big heart (figuratively and literally,) my fur-ever family would need to make sure that it's monitored by a vet. But - just ask my foster mom if you don't believe me, - I am totally worth it! Yes, I am THAT amazing!
I am being fostered in Queens, NY, and if you want to meet me, my rescue family is asking that you please fill out an application: http://poshpetsrescue.org/applications/
