Haverty's Story...
In the middle of the night, Haverty was left tied to the front door at a clinic here in Middle Tennessee. We can't understand why his owner no longer wanted him because he is just a big, loveable, goofy, silly boy!! We think he is around 3 years old and he seems to get along with everyone! He's very playful as he displayed to everyone while walking past a playpen full of puppies! He is a real sweetheart! Haverty is being vetted this week and will be available for adoption on 2/13! Our adoption fee is $200 which covers his vaccinations for the year, his neuter, and microchip. Please apply online at www.nashvillepittie.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haverty, a Nashville American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
