Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Uma's Story....Uma arrived at a high kill shelter, not once, but twice. She was adopted out to a family who took her to a veterinarian and then found out she was heartworm positive. The family brought her back stating they didn't want to have to take care of her. She was only hours away from euthanasia when an email went out and ended up in the hands of a volunteer for Nashville PITTIE. After several email correspondences, we were finally approved to transport Uma to Nashville for a much deserved wonderful life. Uma is now safe and in the loving care of a foster. She has successfully completed her heartworm treatment, is fully vaccinated, crate and house trained. She has learned basic commands and is always eager to learn more. Uma is silly girl that loves attention. She loves to snuggle and takes full advantage of every opportunity, even with strangers. She makes silly noises and faces that will keep you laughing for hours. She is still very young so does require someone that is active and enjoys devoting time just for her. She does not do well in the company of cats and would prefer an adult household with no children. She is the sweetest girl and very deserving of a loving, forever home. Meet her and you're sure to fall in love. If interested in adopting Uma, please contact carlene@nashvillepittie.org
