William's Story...
Looking for the optimal snuggle buddy? William’s your guy!

William came to Friends For Life to get a second chance at a home.
It won’t be hard for you to welcome William into your family; He is the
definition of a snuggly cat. William loves belly rubs and adores any
kind of affection you want to shower him with.

He’s still young so expect some playful kitten energy from him and
enjoy watching him bound around your house, but by and large,
William’s favorite day includes curling up in a sunny spot for a nap
or cuddling with his favorite human while you both watch a movie.
He’s the perfect companion to come home to after a stressful day at
work and will always chirp happily to see you. You will absolutely love
having William as a part of your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

William, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
