Orville's Story...
Orville: A very special odd eyed kitty- one crystal clue, one hazel. His energy is endless, and his ability to give affection matches it. He will play, and play, and play..... and cuddle, and cuddle and cuddle... he loves attention and will give wet nosed kisses all day. Don't be surprised if you wake to find him neatly nestled against you with the sheets over him, too. He would be wonderful in any setting. He is gentle with all humans but does exert some dominance with other kitties so may not be best suited as a second kitty, depending on the personality of the first. Unsure about dogs. If you adopt this fella he is sure to add delight to your home! WARNING: his amusing antics an entertaining nature can cause morning lateness to work..... The Adoption fee is $120 for kittens ($200 for two to the same home) $60 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
