Blackhawk's Story...
Hi everyone - I am Blackhawk - my foster mom named me after the helicopter as I can bounce and fly around the room and then settle down and snuggle. I have 3 identiical brothers and together we make up Team Panther as our mom says we are sleek and pretty like a panther after his prey. I love to be held and pet as I was a bottle baby and hand-raised. At night I settle down on your shoulder if you let me and I come when you call me to eat or just to see me. Come visit me in my Hillsboro foster home. I would love to be adopted with one of my brothers or another young cat! I lived with children before and have a dog in my foster home. I am just the perfect kitty for a family! The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackhawk, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
