Suzie Q's Story...
My name is Suzie Q, I am a happy energetic little girl who would love your company. It would also be great if you had another cat because I love to play, chase and wrestle. It is ok if you don't because then I will just play with you. I do like to cuddle at night but my foster mom says I am like a little two year old who can't stop squirming. I won't leave your lap but I do like to move around. I do like lots of hugs and kisses and really all the attention you can give me. My adoption fee is $100 and covers my spay, vaccines, microchip and registration, FIV-FeLV negative test, worming, flea meds and many other extras. Come visit in my Forest Grove foster home or call 503-312-4296 for further information. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzie Q, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
