Ashes's Story...
Hi guys! I'm ready for my new 'Forever Family' now! I've had lots of fun with my brother and sisters and I finally got old enough to come out in the front room, but now I'm ready for my new family! I'm just a little shy at first, but if you get out the feather toy or the laser light I'm really ready to play. I would like to have another animal in the family that likes to cuddle, or maybe be adopted with my brother or sisters, so I don't get too lonely while you are working. Won't you give my Foster Mom a call and we can meet and see if we like each other! If you are interested in this kitten, please complete an online application at www.catscradlerescue.com and you will be contacted in return by phone or email. For more information, contact Carol at schaffner2@yahoo.com or call 503 701 3160. The Adoption fee is $120 for kittens ($200 for two to the same home) $60 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashes, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
