Sirius's Story...
Sirius is a polydactyl bobtail kitten with medium tan hair. He is a well-mannered, friendly and playful kitten who is 'big': his fluffy hair makes him look bigger; he has big paws because of the extra toes; he is the big brother among his siblings and he acts like one, always watching out and protecting his little brother and sisters. He and his siblings are all people-loving kittens. They like petting and snuggling and are always purring. They will make wonderful pets in a loving home. The Adoption fee is $95 for kittens ($160 for two to the same home), $75 for teens and $50 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sirius, a HILLSBORO Japanese Bobtail kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Bobtail for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Japanese Bobtail kitten from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Bobtail breeders who help with Japanese Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
