Apache's Story...
THi - I am Apache - a great warrior kitten. I stalk pant legs and my other 'Indian' kitten siblings. I usually win...well, sometimes! My foster mom says I am her lover-boy but maybe because I was the first to purr for her. I have a dot on my right toe and war paint stripes down my back. I am really sweet and soft inside and NOT a warrior! NOTE: Kittens do best in pairs. We give first priority to families who want to keep siblings together or who have a kitten that needs a friend. Please complete an application to pre-adopt at www.catscradlerescue.com/adopt. You will receive a prompt reply. Or call Marilyn at 503-312-4296 for further information and to arrange a visit. The Adoption fee is $95 for kittens ($160 for two to the same home), $75 for teens and $50 for adult cats. The adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apache, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
