LYRA's Story...
YOU CAN MEET ME this SATURDAY 8/17 from 12-4 at PETPROS in Hillsboro: 7290 NE Butler St. 97212 Next to WINCO and JoAnn's Fabrics. I will be there with my 3 youngins, Winky, Brewster and Rizzo. I was brought in with 5 kittens at 6 days old. My kittens are now 9 weeks old and weaned. I have been been a wonderful and sweet momma cat and my babies just love me. I am now ready for a new home. I love when you greet me at the door an call my name because I come running for attention when you walk into the room. I roll and snuggles next to you and will nudge your hand to pet me. If you are laying on your back, I will come up and lay right on top of your chest and belly. My ears..I love those petted when you talk sweetly to me. I am a very people friendly and social young lady. My coat is silky soft. I do believe I would be happy to be the only cat in the house with your undivided love and attention or with another very friendly cat. I am an indoor only cat as the outdoors have been rough. So please don't send me back out. I do enjoy sitting by the window looking out or sunning in the sun. But I want to live for a long time and being indoors secures that for me. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LYRA, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
