Aurora's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Aurora's Story...
Three little kittens, all black, no white spots or stars. Two males, Echo (medium hair) and Astro (medium/short hair) and one sister, Aurora who is short-haired. These little sweeties were put in a box along wit their mom and taken to a vet clinic and left there. The mom-cat was super-sweet and that has held true for her kittens as they are friendly and not afraid of people - obviously have been well socialized! Aurora will have her surgery next Monday June 3rd and will be available to go to her new home after recovery. Special consideration will be to a family that will take both Aurora and her bonded brother Astro as a pair. To apply to adopt please go to our website at catscradlerescue.com and under the heading ADOPT you will find the application. Adoption fee is $95 for kittens and $160 for two to the same home. This includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, vet exam and free 30-day insurance offer. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aurora, a HILLSBORO Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in HILLSBORO, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in HILLSBORO.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in HILLSBORO already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a HILLSBORO breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in HILLSBORO paves the way for another one to be saved.
